For those interested. I have been waiting awhile to get some. Just ordered 200 rounds to put in storage. Sure it will go quick. This the good stuff. (yeah, is pricy, but I am buying for that speacial occasion that may come soon) $233.00 shipped to me, ouch.

That $233 probably includes shipping? What twist is your barrel? Just curious. Mine is 1:9 and may or may not stabilize that round. Most of the tap I found over there was $170 for 200. Maybe I was looking in the wrong area. I need to get some defensive ammo also.

1:7 twist, has to be a nato 5.56 barrel also (most are anyways) Think 75gr may be pushing it as far as 1:9. They had regular red box TAP few weeks back, I waited and it sold out. This is the red box T2. Thinking I should have ordered 400, but .........we will see. Should be a performer in my setup...I will find out soon enough.

TAP ammo is GTG. I had about 1k rds of the 168gr for my two M-14's before I sold them. The 1:9 barrel should be fine. I used to shoot 77gr Federal Gold Medal Match through my 1:9 Colt carbine with about a 1 MOA capability.......before I sold it. Bx3 too.

Hornady markets a .223 TAP round and a different 5.56mm TAP round where the bullet uses their T2 profile.
